Now hiring: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Pinal County, Arizona. The job is on a commercial construction site. Ideal candidate: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets Day to day you will brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours.
