Argon welder wanted in Dakota County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Dakota County, Nebraska. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work Day-to-day duties: • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks Overtime paid at a premium rate.
