Gas metal arc welder — Johnson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Johnson County, Arkansas. On the job you will handle: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose You should have: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes We offer $4,600 per month plus benefits.
