Site carpenter • Switzerland County, Indiana

Now hiring: we are hiring a site carpenter in Switzerland County, Indiana. Day-to-day duties: • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions You should have: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Good eye for detail and a clean finish 6+ years on the tools preferred.
