Immediate opening: we are hiring a punch press operator in Franklin County, Virginia. The job is at an auto components factory. Day to day you will apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed. Requirements: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards 5+ years on the tools preferred. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
