Heavy goods vehicle driver — Jay County

Now hiring: we are hiring a heavy goods vehicle driver in Jay County, Indiana. The job is at a haulage company. Day to day you will check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; present documents at weighbridges and check posts; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off. What we are looking for: • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements Six days a week, one day off.
