Precision welder wanted in Alleghany County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a precision welder in Alleghany County, Virginia. On the job you will handle: • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) Ideal candidate: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Full-time with occasional weekends.
