Gas service engineer — Tishomingo County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Tishomingo County, Mississippi. The job is on residential and apartment building sites. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion On a typical shift you will carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves.
