TIG welder — Monroe County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a TIG welder in Monroe County, Georgia. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. On a typical shift you will feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety We offer $3,300 per month plus benefits.
