Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Wharton County, Texas. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. Your main tasks: • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size Ideal candidate: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding 4+ years on the tools preferred.
