Fabricator-welder — Warrick County

Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Warrick County, Indiana. The role involves: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs You should have: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
