Vacancy available: we are hiring an ironing operator in Lincoln County, Kansas. You will work at a dry cleaner's. The role involves hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
