Garden maintenance worker • Minnehaha County, South Dakota

Immediate opening: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Minnehaha County, South Dakota. You will work at a plant nursery. On a typical shift you will mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds. Ideal candidate: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
