Great opportunity: we are hiring a butcher in Renville County, North Dakota. You will be based at a wholesale meat market. On a typical shift you will run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; season and marinate meat on request; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • 2+ years experience working as a butcher Part-time with flexible hours. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
