Urgent requirement: we are hiring a hand presser in Henderson County, North Carolina. The job is at a textile finishing unit. You should have: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work The role involves: • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots 2+ years on the tools preferred.
