Vacancy available: we are hiring a groundsman in Randolph County, West Virginia. You will work in a botanical garden. The role involves sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings. You should have: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors 4+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
