Great opportunity: crane rigger (South Carolina)

Join our team: we are hiring a crane rigger in Chester County, South Carolina. You will work at a power plant. Your main tasks: • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket Rotating shifts.
