Great opportunity: we are hiring a panel wireman in Yancey County, North Carolina. You will be based in an industrial control panel workshop. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of IS wiring and earthing standards • Normal colour vision for cable identification • 2+ years hands-on wiring and maintenance experience Your main tasks: • Install and connect MCBs, RCBOs and isolators in the DB • Carry out preventive maintenance on switchgear and busbars • Check earth continuity and earth pit resistance • Dress and terminate wiring inside control panels • Size and route cabling to suit the load current and voltage drop • Fault-find on motor starters and star-delta panels 3+ years on the tools preferred.
