GMAW welder • Okehi, Kogi State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Okehi, Kogi State. On a typical shift you will control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
