Fabricator-welder wanted in Union County

Join our team: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Union County, Ohio. You will work in a food and dairy equipment factory. On a typical shift you will set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height 1+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
