The role involves set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Six days a week, one day off.
