Plant operator (dozer) wanted in Western Connecticut Planning Region

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in Western Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. The job is on a dam or embankment job. What we are looking for: • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels You will clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $4,900 per month, based on your experience.
