Steel fixer • Charleston County, South Carolina

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel fixer in Charleston County, South Carolina. You will be based at a high-rise construction project. On the job you will handle: • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing What we are looking for: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire Six days a week, one day off.
