Day to day you will use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board. What we are looking for: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
