Panel welder — Cheboygan County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a panel welder in Cheboygan County, Michigan. You should have: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances The role involves weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator.
