Turning centre operator • Overton County, Tennessee

Vacancy available: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Overton County, Tennessee. You will be based in a precision engineering workshop. What we are looking for: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T Day-to-day duties: • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
