Pastry baker — Cuyahoga County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a pastry baker in Cuyahoga County, Ohio. The job is at a café with an on-site bakery. You should have: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving The role involves boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
