Industrial sewing operator wanted in Columbia County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Columbia County, Washington. Requirements: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently On the job you will handle: • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
