Vacancy available: we are hiring a HSE officer in Clarke County, Virginia. The role involves check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry. What we are looking for: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
