Scaffolding charge hand • Beaver County, Pennsylvania

Great opportunity: we are hiring a scaffolding charge hand in Beaver County, Pennsylvania. You will work on a residential housing development. You will tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors; fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid; dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely; fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform; read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class; inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use. What we are looking for: • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
