Lift maintenance fitter — Columbia County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Columbia County, New York. Day to day you will fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches. Requirements: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
