Urgent requirement: offshore rigger (Minnesota)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Kanabec County, Minnesota. The job is on an offshore oil and gas platform. Your main tasks: • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear Requirements: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites Pay around $5,100 per month, based on your experience.
