Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc turning machinist in Asotin County, Washington. The job is in a job-work machining unit. What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg On the job you will handle: • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Load and index turning tools in the turret 5+ years on the tools preferred.
