Turning centre operator — Rockland County

Now hiring: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Rockland County, New York. You will work in a job-work machining unit. Day-to-day duties: • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances Requirements: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg Pay around $4,500 per month, based on your experience.
