Now hiring: we are hiring a food delivery rider in Warren County, Virginia. The job is at a logistics despatch centre. Day to day you will handle fragile and perishable items with care while riding; update the delivery status (picked up, on the way, delivered) on the app in real time; refuel the bike and log fuel expenses against each run; call or message customers to confirm the address and drop-off point; plan the fastest route using the delivery app and GPS navigation; wear a helmet and reflective jacket and follow road-safety rules. Requirements: • Ability to ride safely in heavy traffic and in monsoon rain • Good knowledge of local roads, lanes and shortcuts • Smartphone with a working data connection for the delivery app Six days a week, one day off.
