Now hiring: frame straightening technician (Virginia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a frame straightening technician in City of Galax, Virginia. You will be based in an insurance-approved repair centre. Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting panels, bending and kneeling • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop On the job you will handle: • Buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour • Check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $5,300 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
