Milling machinist • Richmond County, North Carolina

Vacancy available: we are hiring a milling machinist in Richmond County, North Carolina. You will be based at an automotive components factory. Day-to-day duties: • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm Ideal candidate: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
