The role involves: • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Part-time with flexible hours.
