Aluminium fitter wanted in Lafourche Parish

Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium fitter in Lafourche Parish, Louisiana. You will be based on a residential building site. Day-to-day duties: • De-burr, clean and protect anodised or powder-coated surfaces • Punch and notch sections for cleats, gaskets and hardware • Fix handles, hinges, friction stays, locks and multipoint hardware • Check frames for plumb, level and square before fixing • Erect curtain walling, shopfronts and partitions on site • Fit EPDM rubber gaskets and beading into the glazing channels What we are looking for: • Skilled on cutting, crimping and punching machines • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding and ladders • Able to read shop drawings and work to given sizes 2+ years on the tools preferred.
