Pipe tig welder wanted in Derry City and Strabane

Join our team: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Derry City and Strabane, Northern Ireland. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight You will prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges.
