MIG welder • Cowley County, Kansas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a MIG welder in Cowley County, Kansas. You will be based on a structural steel site. On a typical shift you will read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing. Requirements: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Willing to work shifts and overtime At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
