Vacancy available: we are hiring a production welder in Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana. You will work in a heavy engineering unit. On the job you will handle: • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Pay around $4,200 per month, based on your experience.
