Aluminium TIG welder — Ottawa County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Ottawa County, Kansas. You will work on a structural steel site. Day-to-day duties: • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal You should have: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
