We are recruiting: we are hiring a power press operator in City and Borough of Birmingham, England. Day-to-day duties: • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. We offer £2,050 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
