You should have: • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels On the job you will handle: • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
