Fire and safety officer • Greeley County, Kansas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Greeley County, Kansas. Day-to-day duties: • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements You should have: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
