Now hiring: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Contra Costa County, California. You will work at a fabrication and machining plant. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience The role involves machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $21 per hour plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
