Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise Day-to-day duties: • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
