Join our team: stainless steel welder (Scotland)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Highland, Scotland. You will work at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. What we are looking for: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination On the job you will handle: • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
