Now hiring: we are hiring an uPVC window fabricator in Palo Alto County, Iowa. The job is in the profile cutting and welding bay. What we are looking for: • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely The role involves clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame; take site measurements of openings before fabrication; read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $4,700 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
